General Internal Medicine

The specialist in general medicine is often called the family medicine. He offers all medical prestations for the detection and treatment of the most common diseases. His formation, thus, included acquiring knowledge of all important domains of health. He treats all type of patients: mothers with young infants, adolescents, adults and seniors.

The general practitioner masters all fundamental methods of examination. When necessary, they are able to produce radiographic images. He decides on the medical choice of treatment. They also treat wounds of less importance and simple bone fractures.

The generalist works in close cooperation with diverse specialists, to whom he directs his patients for complementary exams or special interventions.
